Ingredients

  • 1 c Sturdiwheat Waffle Mix
  • 1/3 c granulated sugar
  • 2/3 c water
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 T unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 t vanilla extract
  • FROSTING
  • 1/4 c unsalted butter, soft
  • 1/8 t salt
  • 1 c powdered sugar
  • 1 1/2 T male syrup
  • 1 T heavy whipping cream

Step 1

1. Combine waffle mix and sugar in a large bowl. Whisk together water, egg, butter, and vanilla in separate bowl. Pour wet ingredients into dry and gentle mix until just combined. Divide batter between greased muffin cups, filling completely. Bake at 350 degrees for 14-16 minutes, or until cupcakes are puffy.

2. With mixer, beat butter until smooth and creamy. Add salt. Slowly beat in powered sugar. Add syrup and cream. Beat 3 minutes until light and fluffy. Frost cooled cupcakes. Drizzle with syrup .
