  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 6 tablespoons of sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups of buttermilk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • Softened Butter
  • Maple Syrup

Step 1

1. Combine the flour with sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.

2. Add buttermilk, eggs, and melted butter and mix on high speed with an electric mixer for 1 minute or until batter is smooth.

3. Let the batter sit for 5 minutes.

4. Preheat a large nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat.

5. Spray with nonstick cooking spray.

6. Pour 1/3 of a cup onto hot pan or griddle. Cook the pancakes for 1 1/2 - 2 minutes per side or until golden brown.

7. Serve with butter and maple syrup on the side (optional).
