Strawberries and Cream Cake

Made for BNs birthday 2017. Cream center layer thawed and shifted quite a bit. Might use the cream on top?
Ingredients
- 2 3/4 C Cake Flour
- 2 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
- 2 C Sugar
- 1 (3 oz) package Strawberry JELLO
- 2 sticks Butter, Softened
- 4 Eggs
- 1 C Milk
- 1/2 C Strawberries, pureed
- 1 tsp Vanilla
- Filling and Frosting
- 1 1/2 C Heavy Cream
- 2 Tbs Sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 (8oz) Cream Cheese
- 1 stick of Butter, softened
- 4 C Powdered Sugar
- 3 more C of Strawberries

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare pans.
Whisk flour and baking powder together. Beat sugar, JELLO and butter until fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, beating between each. Beat in flour mixture and milk alternating until well combined. Fold in pureed berried and vanilla. (Makes a GREAT Cake!)
Bake 20-25 minutes. Cook completed.
Filling: Beat cream until frothy. add sugar slowly and beat until slow peaks form. Fold in 1/2 tsp canilla.
Beat Cream cheese and butter until fluffy, add powdered sugar and remaining 2 tsp of vanilla.
Layer cake with filling/berries . . . use a frosted rim and straws to spike the cake. Frost and pile top with berries.
REFRIGERATE until ready to serve.
