Ingredients

  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 TBS water
  • 1/4 tsp seasoned salt
  • OR
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 teaspoons butter
  • 2 teaspoons light corn syrup
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup pecan halves
  • Combine brown sugar, butter, corn syrup and salt in a large skillet.
  • Stir over medium heat until butter is melted.
  • Add pecans and cook, stirring constantly, for 5-7 minutes. Make sure pecans are all coated evenly.
  • Spread pecans in single layer on parchment paper and cool completely.

Step 1

1.Combine all ingredients in small saucepan. Stir over medium high heat for about 5" or until syrup has changed to crystals and evenly coats the pecans.
2. Spread on baking sheet, and bake in 300 degree oven for 15" or until light brown.
3. Store in airtight container.
