Ingredients

  • 3 granny smith apples - peeled and cored
  • 3 kiwi - peeled
  • 2 large peaches - pitted & peeling optional
  • 2 large nectarines - pitted & peeling optional
  • 3 plums - pitted & peeling optional
  • strawberries - stems removed
  • 1 can crushed pineapples (drained except for 2 tbsp juice)
  • 3 tbsp strawberry or seedless raspberry preserves

Preparation

Step 1

Chop all fruit into very small cubes. Add all fruit to a large bowl. Add in crushed pineapples and toss all fruit together. Save the juice for later. Add in preserves. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours. Take out of refrigerator and toss again. If mixed seems too gummy add in juice a little at a time. You do not want mixture lose and watery.

Chill again for as long as you want. This is better prepared the night before to allow the fruit to make it's own juice.

Serve with Sugar Cinnamon chips. Another option is plain vanilla cake with ice cream and whipped topping. Also good on waffles, pancakes, etc.
