Mother used to make this chili early in the morning, and let it set on the stove all day. Daddy always liked when Mother made chili, since there was enough for chili the next day.

Ingredients

  • 1 Onion
  • 1 1/2 lb Ground Beeg
  • 28 oz Peeled Tomatoes - pur juice into meat. Squeeze tomoates. Or just buy crushed tomatoes
  • 1/3 cup Ketchup
  • 1 Tbl Chili Powder
  • 2 Tbl Coumin
  • 1/2 tsp Sugar
  • 16 oz Dark Red Kidney Beans

Preparation

Step 1

Brown onion and ground beef in pan.
Add all other ingredients to large pot.
Once ground beef is done, add to large pot.

Bring all ingredients to a boil, and then lower temperature. Simmer for 15 minutes.

Add kidney beans and all liquid. Bring to boil.
