- 1/4 oz. Monin Hickory Smoke Syrup
- 1 1/2 oz. rye or bourbon whiskey (I used Crown)
- 1/4 ounce splash sweet vermouth
- 3 dashes bitters
- cherries and pickled onions, to garnish
