Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 to 6 pounds beef short ribs, cut into individual ribs
- 3 medium onions, chopped
- 4 large garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup dry red wine
- 1 can (28 ounces) whole tomatoes, including liquid
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh rosemary leaves or 1 teaspoon dried rosemary, crumbled
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups frozen pearl onions
- 1 pound peeled, baby carrots

Preparation
Step 1
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Sear beef ribs on each side.
Place with the remaining ingredients in slow cooker crockery.
Cover. Slow cook 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low.
Skim fat from sauce before serving.
