Ingredients
- For the sauce:
- Veg oil for deep fryer or skillet.
- 1 lb. Boneless,skinless chicken breasts cut into 1 inch pieces
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. buttermilk
- 1 tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/2 c. honey
- 2 tbsp. soy sauce
- 1 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes or to taste.

Step 1
Heat vegetable oil.
Working one at a time, dredge chicken in flour dip into buttermilk, then dredge in flour again, pressing to coat.
Cook 3 to 4 at a time until golden and crispy
Drain on paper towels.
In a small bowl, combine cornstarach and 1 tbsp. water. Set aside.
In a small sauce pan over medium high heat combine honey, soy sauce, apple cider, vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper flakes. Bring to a boil; reduce heat and stir in cornstarch. Stir until thickened, about 2-3 min. Serve over chicken. We like rice with this.
