Ingredients

  • 16 eggs
  • 1 cup light cream
  • 3/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 1/2 cups grated Cheddar cheese
  • 2 cups cooked, crumbled pork or turkey sausage
  • 1 tbsp minced fresh chives
  • 2 tbsp butter, melted
  • Salt, to taste
  • Pepper, to taste

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350 F.

Beat eggs in a large bowl for at least 5 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients, and combine well. Pour into a 9-by-13-inch baking pan that has been sprayed with non-stick cooking oil.

Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes. (Set oven at 325 F if using a glass baking dish). Casserole will puff up. When done, the top will be golden and the mixture set. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
