Ingredients
- 2 lb LG shelled shrimp
- 2 (12 oz) bottles beer
- 1/2 c cider vinegar
- 2 c water
- 2 T Old Bay Seasoning
- 2 T Creole seasoning
- 2 T minced garlic
Preparation
Step 1
Pour beer, vinegar & water into high sided pan. Add Old Bay Seasoning, cover & blast on high heat. When it boils rapidly, add the shrimp. Cover again & cook two min. until shrimp turn pink & the flesh is just opaque.
Drain shrimp in colander & cover with layer of ice to chill them down enough to stop the cooking. Throw shrimp into a bowl & toss with garlic & Creole seasoning.
Serve with Mutha cocktail sauce. (Separate recipe)
