Ingredients

  • 1 artichoke
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 stick of butter
  • bread crumbs
  • lemon juice
  • garlic powder

Preparation

Step 1

ARTICHOKE
-Cut the tip of each leaf and open leaves
-Cut the bottom steam off so the artichoke can stand on its own
-Put a steamer in the pot and fill with water. Place artichoke on top of steamer.
-Bowl low for 1 hour until leaves pull out easily. Check water continuously to make sure it didn't boil out.
BREADCRUMB DIP
-Put olive oil and butter in frying pan to melt
-Add breadcrumbs allowing dip to be runny
-Add a little garlic powder and lemon juice
-Pour dip onto artichoke ensuring to get in the leaves
-Broil for 1 minute or less until breadcrumbs are golden brown
Serve!
