Ingredients

4 eggs, slightly beaten
2/3 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon vanilla
2-2/3 cups scalding hot milk

Step 1

Mix last 3 ingredients together then beat in eggs.

Pour into pie crust.

Bake at 425 degrees just until a silver knife inserted into side of filling comes out clean for about 25 to 30 minutes.
