Ingredients
- 1 LB Green Beans
- 1 Large Onion, chopped
- 4 Cloves Garlic, thin sliced
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 Large Roma Tomatos
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 cup White Wine
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1 Lemon, cut in wedges
- salt
- fresh ground pepper

Preparation
Step 1
-If green beans are frozen, thaw at room temperature for 30 minutes. If fresh, wash them, cut off ends and snap in half
-Heat olive oil I'm dutch oven. Saute onion and garlic over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add red pepper and tomoatos , saute for another 5 minutes until tomato begins to break down.
-Stir in green beans, toss them to coat with onion and oil. Pour in the wine and bring to a simmer over medium high heat. Cover and cook for 45 minutes, or until beans are tender.
-Stir in cinnamon and season to taste with salt and pepper. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
