Ingredients

  • 6 slices of bread with no crust
  • 1 lb pork sausage bulk
  • 6 beaten eggs
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups shredded mild cheddar
  • 13 x9 pan

Preparation

Step 1

Butter one side of each of the pieces of bread. Fry and drain the sausage well.

Place bread butter side up, crumble sausage and spoon over bread.

Combine eggs, half and half and salt beat until foamy. Pour over sausage. Sprinkle cheddar cheese.

Cover with foil and refrigerate overnight. Remove from fridge 15 minutes before baking and uncover.

Bake uncovered 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until settled.
