Ingredients

  • 8 oz cream cheese (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 1-1/4 cup white granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2-1/2 cups sifted flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Powdered (Confectioner's) sugar

Step 1



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
2. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicon mats.
3. Beat cream cheese and butter together till fluffy and smooth (about 2 minutes).
4. Add sugar to the mixture and eat till fully incorporated and fluffy.
5. Add eggs and vanilla extract - mix well.
6. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the mixture. Stir until incorporated. Do not over-mix.
7. Drop by rounded tablespoons onto prepared baking sheets.
8. Bake at 350 degrees F for 10-11 minutes.
Cookies should be light in color, not browned, and just starting to brown on the bottom.
9. Cool cookies on the baking rack for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
