  • 1.6 kg of firm potatoes
  • 500 g Raclette cheese, grated
  • 3 red onions, sliced
  • 500 g of bacon
  • 225 ml of liquid cream

Preparation

Step 1

Peel (or not!) the potatoes, leave them whole and cook them in salted water.
Drain and cut into slices. Or use half of whole for a layer and smash in pan.
Brown the bacon with the chopped onions.
In a gratin dish, put a layer of potatoes. Cover with half of the onion-bacon mixture. Spread remaining potatoes and cover with remaining bacon. Spread the cream over the surface.
Cover with slices of cheese after removing the crusts.
Place in preheated (350?) oven for about a quarter of an hour.
Serve warm with a salad.
