Ingredients
- 3 strips bacon (diced)
- 1 garlic clove (minced)
- 2 roma tomatoes (diced)
- 1 medium onion (diced)
- 1 jalapeno (seeded and diced)
- 3 15 oz cans pinto beans (rinsed and drained)
- 9 oz chicken broth or beer
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro

Preparation
Step 1
Cook bacon until grease is released. Stir in garlic, tomatoes, onion, and jalapeno. Cook until bacon is crispy. Stir in beans and broth (or beer), salt and pepper. Simmer on low 20-30 minutes. Stir in chopped cilantro last 5 minutes.
