Ingredients
- 2 cups 1% milk
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup medium grain rice--better than long grain
- 1 cup half and half
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
mix first 5 ingredients together in a large pot, and bring to a boil. simmer for 45-60 minutes. remove from heat.
Blend together eggs, sugar, half and half, and vanilla in a mixer or blender. Very quickly stir this into rice mixture, bring back to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes stirring constantly--very important at this stage.
Pour into a glass bowl, and sprinkle with cinnamon if desired.
