Ingredients

1 cup (2 sticks) butter
2 cups sugar
2 t vanilla extract
4 eggs
1 cup flour
3/4 cup Hershey's cocoa
1/2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
1 cup chopped nuts, optional

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350
Cream butter and sugar together
Add eggs and vanilla
Add dry ingredients
Add nuts if you like
Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check at 25 minutes. Do not overbake
