Ingredients
- 6 medium green peppers
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 box Rice-a-Roni, Spanish flavor
- 16 oz can tomato sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 14.5 oz can tomatoes
- 1 c shredded cheddar

Step 1
Remove tops and seeds from peppers, parboil peppers for 5 minutes and drain. Place pepper sin a baking dish. Combine ground beef and onion and cook together. Prepare Rice-a-roni according to package directions. Combine with beef mixture. Fill peppers. Mix 1 tsp sugar with tomato sauce and pour AROUND peppers. Cover baking dish. 350, 35 minutes; uncover and top with cheese, 5 more minutes.
