Ingredients

  • 16 oz (uncooked) thin spaghetti
  • 1/2 Yellow Sweet Onion (chopped)
  • 4-6 Cloves of Garlic (minced)
  • 1 1/2 LB Italian Sweet Sausage
  • 3 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 24oz jars of Spaghetti Sauce
  • 8 oz Cottage Cheese
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese (softened)
  • 1/4 C Sour Cream
  • 3 C Mozzarella
  • 1/2 C Butter, Sliced

Preparation

Step 1

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

Boil pasta, drain, add 1 jar of sauce and set aside.

Heat oil, garlic and onion; saute until tender. Add sausage (out of casing) and 2 tsp Italian Seasoning. Cook, drain, add 1 jar of sauce and set aside.

Combine cottage cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, 1 C mozzarella and 1 tsp Italian seasoning.

In a DEEP 9x13 pan, place half of the butter slices in the bottom, then layer:

1/2 spaghetti, all cheese, 1/2 spaghetti, butter slices, meat sauce and top with remaining mozzarella slices

Bake for 30-45 minutes. Let set for 10 minutes.
