    Sticks Unsalted Butter, softened

    Cup Sugar

  • 2

    tsp. Vanilla

  • 2

    Eggs

  • 3/4

    tsp. Baking Powder

  • 3/4

    tsp. Baking Soda

  • 3/4

    tsp. Cream of Tartar

  • 3/4

    tsp. Nutmeg

  • 1 1/4

    Cups Sour Cream

  • 2 1/4

    Cup. Flour

  • 1/2

    Cup Sugar + 1 Tbs. Cinnamon

Directions

Cream butter and sugar until creamy, about 3-5 minutes. Add vanilla then add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. In a separate bowl, add flour. baking powder, baking soda, cream of tartar and nutmeg and mix well. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture alternately with sour cream, beginning and ending with flour mixture. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop out muffin batter one scoop at a time and drop into a small bowl containing sugar and cinnamon; roll until well-coated. Place each scoop into a greased muffin cup, about 12-15. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-22 minutes or until golden brown.
