  • Glaze:
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 yellow cake mix
  • 1 3 3/4 oz pkg of vanilla pudding
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1/2 cup veg oil
  • 1/2 cup good quality rum
  • 1/2 lb butter
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup rum

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Grease and flour bundt pan. Sprinkle nuts on bottom of pan. Mix cake mix according to pkg directions. Pour over nuts and bake 1 hour. Cool, invert on serving plate. Prick cake and pour glaze over until all absorbed. Boil glaze 1 minute before pouring.
