Ingredients

  • Icing:
  • 1/2 cup butter (melted in microwave)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 (16 oz. can) Hershey's syrup
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 4 tbsp. cocoa
  • 4 Tbsp. milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 350. Grease bottom of 10x15" pan.

Cream sugar and butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.

Add vanilla - beat.

Add flour and mix well. Add nuts.

Pour into pan and bake 35-40 minutes.

Icing:
Bring the butter, cocoa, and 1 Tbsp. milk to a boil in the microwave.

In a mixing bowl, pour confectioners sugar. Add cocoa mixture and beat. Add vanilla and the remainder of the milk.

Let brownies cool 5-10 minutes. Spread frosting on top. Sprinkle with more chopped nuts, if desired. Icing will harden to a fudge-like consistency.
