Ingredients

• 2 1/2 C flour
• 2 t cream of tarter
• 1 t bking soda
• 1/2 t salt
• 8 T vegetable shortening
• 8 T butter
• 1 1/2 C sugar
• 2 eggs

Preparation

Step 1

Mix dry ingredients in a bowl

Cream shortening, butter, and sugar. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour a little at a time.
Make cinnamon sugar with 1/4 C sugar & 1 T cinnamon
make a ball with 2 T dough and roll in cinnamon sugar.
place on cookie sheet 2" apart, then bake in preheated 375% oven about 10 minutes. rotate pan halfway through. remove from oven, leave on sheet 10 minutes. then move to cooling rack.
