Grandma's Italian cookies

Ingredients

• for cookies:
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 cup sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1/3 cup milk
• 3 tsp. lemon extract
• 31/2 cups flour
• 3 tsp. baking powder
• 1/2 tsp. salt
• for icing:
• 1 Box confectionair sugar
• hot water
• 1 teaspoon vanilla or almond extrack

Preparation

Step 1

for cookies:
add dry ingredients to a small ball
In a separate bowl..
Cream buter and sugar with beater..add 2 eggs then dry ingredients..
add milk and lemon extract..
Gather dough and put on cutting board ..take small teaspoon of dough and roll in palm of hand and
place on agreased cookie sheet.

Bake 350 oven about 15-20 min.

for icing:
Beat or mix until smooth..pour teaspoon on cookie
