Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Brown Butter and Almonds

Ingredients
- 2 1/2 lb. Brussels Sprouts (about 6 cups)
- 3 Tbs. olive oil
- 1 2-oz. pkg. slivered almonds (1/2 cup)
- 3 Tbs. butter
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper

Step 1
1. Wash sprouts, trim, and cut in half. Toss with olive oil inshallow roasting pan, coating well. Remove and discard any loose leaves.
2. Bake at 425° for 20 minutes.
3. Brown almonds in butter in a small skillet over medium heat, stirring often, just until golden brown. Add garlic, and cook one more minute, stir in salt and peper. Pour garlic mixture over sprouts and toss gently to coat. Serve immediately.
