Chipped beef on English Muffins

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup melted butter
• 2 Tbsp. minced onion
• Fresh mushrooms or 1 can whole mushrooms and 2 cans mushrooms & stems
• 3 Tbsp. flour
• 1 cup milk
• 1 pt. sour cream
• 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
• 1/4 lb. or more dried beef, chopped
• English muffins

Preparation

Step 1

Saute mushrooms & onions in butter. Add flour and slowly add 1 cup milk. Add to that mixture sour cream, cheese, and dried beef. Thin if necessary with milk. Serve over English muffins.
