Ingredients
- 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/3 cup milk
- 1/4 cup butter, cubed
- 1/4 cup shredded Gruyere or Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
- 1/4 cup minced chives
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Place potatoes in a Dutch oven and cover with water. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and cook for 10-15 minutes or until tender. Drain.
2. In a large bowl, mash potatoes with remaining ingredients. Yield: 8 servings.
Substitute 2 lbs cauliflower for potatoes for lower calorie option.
