Ingredients
- Topping:
- 1 1/2 c flour
- 1/4 c sugar
- 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 c shortening
- 3/4 c milk
- 1 egg
- 1/3 c nut
- 1/4 c packed brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 c powder sugar
- 1/4 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 tsp water

Preparation
Step 1
Combine shortening and sugar until light and fluffy, add the egg mix until combined.
Add the rest of the dry ingredients alternating with milk. Pour into a 9x9x2 pan.
Combine nut, brown sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle on top of batter.
Bake in a preheated oven at 375' for 30 minutes.
Combine topping ingredients and drizzle over the cake before serving.
