Ingredients

  • 1 large onion, diced
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 large russett, diced
  • 1 (8-ounce) bottles clam juice
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoons seafood seasoning
  • 1 can Cream of Shrimp soup
  • 1 pound lump crabmeat, drained and picked
  • 5 large, deveined shimps
  • 1 (14.1-ounce) package refrigerated pie crust
  • 1 large egg, beaten

Preparation

Step 1

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
1. In a large bowl, mix clam juice and 1 can of Cream of Shrimp soup, until well blended.
2. Add all vegetables to clam juice and soup mixture.
3. Add crabmeat and shrimps to soup mixture.
4. Add seafood seasoning and lemon zest, and combine thoroughly.
5. Add mixture to 13" x 9" baking dish.
6. Unroll 1 pie crust on work surface. Place pie crust on top of crab pot pie mixture, covering mixture completely.
7. Whisk together egg and 1 tablespoon water. Brush top of pie crust with egg wash; Make 4 or 5 slits on top of pie crust to vent. Place baking dish in oven, on a foil (or parchment-lined) baking sheet.
8. Bake at 375° for 25 to 30 minutes (or until golden brown.)
