Ingredients

  • 3 large eggs
  • 3/4 c light corn syrup
  • 4 TBSP butter, melted
  • 3/4 c light brown sugar, firmly packed
  • 2 TBSP bourbon
  • 2 TBSP all-purpose flour
  • 1 TBSP vanilla extract
  • 1 1/4 c pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 chocolate chips
  • 1 9" prepared pie crust (do not pre bake)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Preheat oven to 425

2. In Large bowl mix together eggs, corn syrup, butter, light brown sugar, bourbon and vanilla until well combined

3. Add the chopped pecans and chocolate chips and mix well

4. Pour into prepared pie crust

5. Bake pie on bottom rack at 425 for 15 minutes.

6. After 15 minutes reduce heat to 350 for another 45 minutes

7. let pie cool for at least 1 hour
