Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 large egg yolk
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon soda
- 2 cups chocolate chip

Step 1
Preheat oven to 375. Mix brown sugar, sugar, butter, egg, egg yolk, and vanilla in a large bowl until well mixed. Stir in flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda until blended.
Add chocolate chips or nuts.
Drop by tablespoons onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake 10-12 minutes or until golden brown.
