Easy, travel friendly Hot Cocoa 1 Picture

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 Tbsp dairy-free semisweet chocolate (chips or bar, chopped)
  • 1 Tbsp raw sugar
  • Vegan Marshmallows
  • 1/8 th tsp peppermint extract or vanilla bean (optional)
  • Optional: 1 cup unsweetened almond milk and Coconut whipped cream for topping

Preparation

Step 1

I measure out the cocoa powder, chocolate chips and sugar in the amount of servings I need and put into travel friendly container. Adding a vanilla bean (seeds removed and put into bag along with bean) is easiest to travel with.

When I am ready to use it I add 2 tablespoons of hot cocoa mix to a mug/cup and add 1 cup of hot water.

If you are home you can add :

Hot almond milk and top with coconut whip cream.

Also if you are home you can add in your extract of choice – I think peppermint is truly unbeatable. Stir, and top with coconut whipped cream.

These vegan marshmallows and raw coconut cookies are a great pairing :)
