  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1-1/4 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1

Preheat oven 375. Generously grease six 6 ounce popover pan, or custard cups with melted butter. Set on rimmed baking sheet.

Mix in blender,combine eggs, milk, butter, flour, spice and salt, blend until smooth. Pour about 1/3 cup batter into each custard cup, or fill popover pan cups half full. Bake 50 minutes , then quickly cut small slit in top of each popover to release steam ; bake 10 minutes longer . Remove from pan. Serve hot sprinkled with confectioner sugar.
