Ingredients
- 12 oz 80% lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 2 cups vegetables such as julienned carrot, cucumber, radish, and bean sprouts
- Garnishes: julienned nori, sliced scallions, kimchi and toasted sesame seeds all work well
- 4 eggs
- 4 Tbsp gochujang sauce (more or less to taste)

Preparation
Step 1
Heat a non stock skillet over medium high heat. Add the beef, soy sauce, sugar, garlic, ginger and sesame oil. Cook, stirring to break up beef, until beef is cooked through, about 8-10 minutes.
Divide the rice between four wide, shallow bowls and then top with the meat, vegetables and desired garnishes.
Fry eggs sunny side up and place on top of each bowl. Then add a tablespoon of gochujang to each bowl.
