Ingredients

  • 6 cups broccoli flowerettes
  • 1/2 pound bacon, crisply fried and crumbled
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/2 cup dried sweetened cranberries or golden raisins
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 1/2 Tbs. apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup sunflower seeds

Step 1

Wash and drain broccoli. Cut into bite size pieces and place in large mixing bowl. Add bacon, red onion and cranberries. Stir to combine.

In another bowl combine mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Mix until well blended. Pour over broccoli mixture and toss to coat. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours. Just before serving sprinkle with sunflower seeds, and toss to mix. Serve cold.
