- 1 Large can Sauerkraut
- 8 to 10 large potatoes
- 1/2 stick margarine
- 2 Cups flour
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup cold water
- 1 teas. salt
- Butter and onions
Cook sauerkraut with 1 can water for about 2 hours
Peel potatoes and cook in very salty water
Mash potatoes with butter.
Drain sauerkraut well and add to mashed potatoes
Make dough and roll into circles. Add 1 teas of filling. Pinch tightly.
Place in boiling water until floating to the top.
Remove from water and place in cooked butter and onions.
