Ingredients
- 1 c. vegetable broth
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. Aged Balsamic Vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. Maruso® Soy Sauce
- 1/2 c. onions, chopped
- 5 garlic cloves
- 56 oz. whole tomatoes, drained
- 3/4 c. half and half
- Fresh ground pepper

Preparation
Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 500°F.
2. Combine ½ c. broth, brown sugar, vinegar and soy sauce in a small bowl
3. Place onion, garlic and tomatoes in a baking pan. Pour contents of small bowl over tomatoes and bake for 50 minutes.
4. Place tomato mixture, remain broth and half & half in blender, a little at a time, and blend until smooth.
5. Strain mixture through sieve if seems lumpy. Serve topped with fresh black pepper
