Ingredients
- 2 T cornstarch
- 1 c milk
- few grains of salt
- 1/2 c Crisco
- 1/2 c butter (can use all butter instead of 1/2 c Crisco)
- 1 c sugar
- 1 t vanilla

Step 1
Blend cornstarch, milk and salt into sauce pan. Cook, stirring constantly until mixture forms a thick paste. Set to cool. Beat Crisco and butter with sugar. Add cornstarch mixture and add vanilla. Beat at high speed until fluffy. Cocoa can be added for chocolate cream icing.
