Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs. lean ground chuck
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 2 cans (15.5 oz. each) Dark Red Kidney Beans
  • 1 can (10.75 oz.) tomato soup
  • 1 can (10.75 oz.) water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 2 cans (14.5 oz. each) stewed tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 4 oz. shredded cheddar cheese
  • 4 oz. sour cream
  • 2 cups macaroni (prepared according to package

Preparation

Step 1

In a medium frying pan, brown ground chuck and onion; drain. Add salt, pepper, kidney beans, tomato soup, water, catsup, stewed tomatoes and chili powder; mix well.

Bring to a boil over high heat. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered 1 to 2 hours. Serve with cheese, sour cream and macaroni.
