Ingredients
- 4 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Cayenne
- 2 Tsp Paprika
- 1 Tsp Thyme
- 1.5 Tsp pepper
- Turmeric?
- 3 Tbsp of minced garlic + 4 cloves to stick inside
- 1 Lemon
- 1 Large Onion
- 1 Large Baking Potato
- 2 medium carrots, 3 ribs of celery
- 1 Whole Chicken
Preparation
Step 1
1. Mix all spices together in a separate bowl
2. Cover the entire chicken
3. Put 4 cloves of garlic, 1 qtr of onion and half a lemon into the chicken
4. Put chopped carrots, chopped rest of the onion, chopped potato and chopped celery into the slow cooker
5. Put chicken on top.
6.Set to low for 8 hrs. Let the chicken sit for 10 minutes prior to cutting
