Turkey & Onion Stuffing

Bake at 350 degrees for 1/2 Hr. or until browned on top.

Ingredients

  • 12 C. Cubed Bread
  • 2 Eggs (whipped)
  • 1/2 C. Butter or Margarine
  • 1 C. Apples (Cored and Diced)
  • 1 C. Onions (chopped fine)
  • 1/2 C. Celery (chopped fine)
  • 1 C. Turkey or Chicken Broth
  • 1 C. Turkey or Chicken (cooked, cubed or shredded)

Preparation

Step 1

1. Cut Bread into approximately 1/2 inch cubes. Place in a Large Bowl.

2. In a small bowl whip the Eggs and pour over the Bread Cubes.

3. In a saucepan, simmer the Butter, Apple, Onion, Celery, Turkey/Chicken Broth and the Pieces of Turkey/Chicken for about 10 minutes. Set aside to cool a bit. Pour mixture over the Bread Cubes and toss lightly with a large spoon until all ingredients are well blended.

4. Pour into a 2 quart greased baking dish and place in the oven for 30 minutes or until the top of the dressing is browned.
