Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 3/4 C Flour
- 2 C Sugar
- 3/4 C Cocoa
- 1 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 Baking Powder
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Eggs
- 1 C milk
- 1/2 C Vegetable Oil
- 2 tsp Vanilla
- 1 C Boiling Water
- 4 C Semisweet Chocolate Chips (2 12oz packages)
- 2 C Whipping Cream
- 3 Tbs Butter
- 2 tsp Vanilla

Preparation
Step 1
Mix flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Beat in (with mixer): eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes. Beat in Boiling Water on lowest speed. (Batter will be thin) Pour into two cake pans. (Half each after cooling.)
Bake at 350 degrees for 30-33 minutes. Cool 20 minutes then cool on baking rack.
Icing:
Combine chips and cream in a microwavable bowl. Heat 1 1/2 minutes. Stir until melted and mixed. Add cut up butter and vanilla until blended. Cool in fridge until a good consistency to spread.
