Ingredients
- Icing:
- 1 box Devil’s Food cake mix
- 1 can cherry pie filling (not the real large size)
- 2 unbeaten eggs
- 1 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 C Crisco (or more)
- Fairly good T oleo
- 1 tsp. almond flavoring
- Milk to moisten

Step 1
Mix all together by hand until ingredients are all mixed. Pour into a 9x13 oblong pan and bake 25-30 minutes at 350°. I like to see white icing on a chocolate cake and I make my own. Make icing to spreading consistency. Use mixer and blend Crisco and oleo first, then add sugar, flavoring and your milk. Scrumptious! Eating!
