Ingredients
- Lettuce (I use iceberg)
- Red onions
- Waterchestnuts-chopped
- Celery
- Peas (one 10 ounce package, cooked)
- 2 cups Hellmans mayonnaise
- 3 T. sugar
- shredded cheese

Preparation
Step 1
In a large salad bowl layer in order from bottom, lettuce, red onions, waterchestnuts,celery and peas.
Mix 2 cups of Hellmans mayo with 3 T. sugar, spread over top of salad. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top. Cover with saran wrap for 24 hours in frig.
Toss before serving.
