Ingredients
- 3 bags of microwave popcorn , popped (about 20 cups)
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 12 jar salted dry-roasted peanuts
- 1 small bag roasted pecan parts.

Step 1
1. Preheat oven to 250*. Grease 2 large rimmed baking sheets with butter or Pam. Set aside.
2. Put the popcorn in a very large bowl. Sift through the popcorn and remove any unpopped kernels. Set aside.
3. Melt butter in medium sauce pan over medium heat. Add sugars and syrups and bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Take the pot off the heat.
4. Add the baking soda. Stir until foaming stops (do by sink incase it overflows).
5. Stir the caramel into popcorn and add nuts. Use a plastic spatula and gently turn until all popcorn and nuts are coated. Transfer to buttered baking sheets. Bake @ 250* for 25 minutes. Stir mixture and continue for 25 more minutes. Remove from oven and cool for about 10 minutes. Transfer to wax paper if it begins to stick to pan. Break apart and it's ready to eat.
Chocolate drizzle:
Melt 6 oz. chocolate and 1 T shortening. Drizzle over popcorn while on the baking sheets.
