Ingredients
- 6oz box long grain & wild rice mix
- 1 lb hot sausage
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 8oz can sliced mushrooms, drained
- 8oz can sliced water chestnuts, drained
- 3 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 cup sliced almonds
- Lemon slices & parsley, to garnish

Preparation
Step 1
Cook rice according to package directions.
Cook sausage, ground beef, & onion together. Drain well.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients. Transfer to 9x13 baking dish.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
Can be chilled overnight-- if so, bring to room temperature (30 minutes). Cook uncovered at 325 degrees for 50 minutes.
