Ingredients
- 1 cup salted butter
- 2 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp. almond extract
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
- 3 cups flour

Preparation
Step 1
Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and extracts and beat until light and fluffy. Sift together flour, soda and cream of tartar. Add to creamed mixture and mix just until combined.
Divide dough in half. Wrap each half in plastic wrap and flatten into a disk. Refrigerate several hours or overnight.
Roll to about 1/4" thickness, cut with cookie cutters, and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for about 10 minutes.
